N-13 News is overdue an update and recently I've been giving it just that. A week or so ago I decided that a lot of people are still using the script so it deserves to be updated, I also knew there was quite a few things which could be improved/scraped and started again. If I could go back in time I would slap myself for the way I coded things back when I first wrote N-13 News, updating it is a hassle and because of that I'm having to overhaul quite a lot of it.
The new version will have a considerable number of bug fixes and lots of improvements. I've created a sort of Bugs & Features page just to keep myself on track. Depending on how motivated I am to complete this will determine how quickly its finished, hopefully that'll be sometime soon as long as I stop finding new things to add to the list!

Well, the new design is finished. It was a complete pain making a 2 column fluid layout with images. If you're using IE6 for the love of god download Firefox or at least upgrade to IE7, for IE6 users I've disabled some of the images because I really can't be assed writing extra code to accommodate a non-standard browser.
I've been contacted by my host and apparently my system uses a lot of resources on the SQL server. So I've been going over as much of the code as possible trying to optimize what I can and amalgamate as many queries into as few as possible. Its given me a chance to brush on up using JOIN queries. If you see something broken or not showing as it should do, let me know on the forum or private message me. Apart from that, that's pretty much it. Ciao

I've moved my email server over to Google so now all network-13 emails are managed by the almighty Google!

Network-13 v5 is finished! I redesigned the entire layout from scratch keeping the system behind it pretty much the same. The previous design although functional, wasn't very pretty to look at. Hopefully this design will have both functionality and be easy on the eyes.
Other than that I've yet to update anything else on the site but I probably will eventually, so keep checking back
